Message-ID: <20635.27f89754@oregon.uoregon.edu> Date: 2 Apr 91 22:38:12 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: University of Oregon Lines: 19 I went to my local Amiga dealership today to see about an Amiga 3000. He whipped out a price list dated 3/25/91 that has substantially higher prices than the list posted to the net dated 3/1/91. In addition, the list my dealer gave me has no indication of having come from Commodore -- no letterhead or logo, just two typewritten pages. Furthermore, some of the specs are different (eg. the A3000-25/1000 is listed as coming with only 2 megs rather than 5). The price for an A3000-25-50 is $2719 on the list the dealer gave me vs. $2547 on the list posted to the net. Calling two other dealers in the state got me one replication of the prices posted to the net and a third price that seemed to be an old, out of date quote. I would appreciate any clarification anyone could give me on this. I can live with paying the extra $172 bucks if I must, I just hate the idea of doing business with an unscrupulous dealer. Thanks. --geoff
