It is identified as "NSG/ASY/Software Product Marketing" and dated February 14, 1991. In this 33 page paper, HP outlines their approach to operating system evolution, including when they plan for upgrades for the various operating systems and how those upgrades will mesh. The paper stresses the viability of Domain/OS as well as addressing how specific favorite Aegisisms will be provided by OSF -- including a "DM-like editor". We will see how well these plans are carried out. I am surprised that this hasn't gotten wider distribution, since these issues are certainly in the minds of all Apollo network managers. Ask your local office for a copy. Dennis Cottel, dennis@NOSC.MIL, (619) 553-1645 Naval Ocean Systems Center, San Diego, CA 92152
