Requires a 20MHz 386 to be tolerably fast? Bullsh*t. Ugly? Well, that's a matter of opinion, and IMHO GEM is the ugliest GUI of the bunch. As far as the OS is concerned, you shouldn't feel this need to bash on MS-DOS. After all, TOS and DOS are practically the same OS, ported to different machines.
