One thing DEC should consider: there are a customers (like us ;-), which
have to stay at VMS (because of existing Software, which is not yet or will
never be ported to Ultrix) at the moment, but want to switch over to "open"
systems as soon as possible - with this statement, i heared on a PID at the
CeBIT fair: "We have two families of workstations: RISC with Ultrix and
VAX with VMS" this will be hard (and DEC won't sell us a VAXstation anymore
:-( )...
