It looks like we might be moving one of our mainframe applications (under adabas/natural) to one or more high-end vms micro/minis, which would then become my responsibility. I have some vax experience (bsd), and no vms experience worth talking about. Could anyone recommend some readable books/papers on administering a vms system, network issues, vax nfs issues, file system management, remote dump capabilities (to unix 8mm), novice administrator gotcha's, performance issues, etc...?
