If it were my money I would call the vendor. I would also order by mail and pay by credit card. This allows you to specify "using C&T chipset on motherboard" and stop payment if it's not as ordered. For the record the Dell version of V.4 seems to like running on just about anything I've tried, in spite of their being careful to limit the promises to Dell.
