As users of this device know, the touch pad is configurable as an X-Y pad; a programmable soft-key matrix ranging from a 3x3 to a 6x6 matrix; a generator of left/right/up/down arrow commands depending on which direction you move your finger or a stylus on the pad; and (finally) a microsoft compatible mouse. My problem with it? It will not work with MS Windows 3. It currently is running software version 2.0 (keytronic part nbr: 57-50517-304) and firmware part nbr: 57-50602-000. Has anyone been able to get it to work with Windows 3, or do I have to upgrade the ROM and software? (I think that KeyTronics wants over $50.00 for an upgrade... this seems unreasonable especially when one can buy a bus mouse for around $20.00). --- Steve Pershing, System Administrator : The QUESTOR Project: FREE Usenet News/Internet Mail; Sci, Med, AIDS, more : :===========================================================================: : Internet: sp@questor.wimsey.bc.ca : POST: 1027 Davie Street, Box 486 : : Phones: Voice/FAX: +1 604 682 6659 : Vancouver, British Columbia : : Data/BBS: +1 604 681 0670 : Canada V6E 4L2 :
