Message-ID: <790@philica.ica.philips.nl> Date: 2 Apr 91 17:14:56 GMT Reply-To: reneb@ica.philips.nl () Organization: Philips TDS, Innovation Centre Aachen Lines: 16 hello guys, I have a problem with my HP Laserjet III connected to my 33 Mhz 386DX machine. Whenever I want to use the printer, I must turn it on *before* I turn on the PC, otherwise the application (e.g. windows) which wants to print something can't find the printer and just 'hangs'. I don't know my BIOS (utilities say :'BIOS unknown') so maybe the problem is in there. Does anyone know this problem, and is there a cure for it?? All help greatly appreciated.
