Message-ID: <91088.204607ANDY@MAINE.BITNET> Date: 30 Mar 91 01:46:06 GMT Organization: University of Maine System Lines: 15 I have a PS/2 55SX with the 60MB ESDI hard drive. I have a 50mb partition for AIX, but since AIX itself barely loads in 50mb, much less any useful applications, I have decided to use OS/2. Unfortunately I no longer have access to the AIX installation disks, and I can not get either DOS or OS/2 FDISK to remove the damned partition! As it stands, all I have usable is an 8mb DOS partition. I want all 60mb (or 58 actually) back... Is there a BIOS address I can jump to to low-level this drive? Anything?? There's probably some simple solution, but being a big-iron addict I am woefully ignorant of such things. Please respond to ANDY@MAINE.EDU as I do not regularly monitor the COMP.SYS newsgroups. Andy
