    According to my sources (the Paradise brochure:-)) the color is
    NOT 24-bit, it's either 16 or 256 colors (if you have full 1 meg
    of video ram) at 1024x768 from a palette of 16.7 million colors.

    But if you're looking for MicroChannel 24 bit-color, the you
    should check the Hercules Graphics Station Card (TI 34010-60, 1MB
    VRAM, option for 2 MB program memory), which has the following
    resolutions:

    640x480, 16-bit color (65536 colors)
    1024x768, 8-bit color (256 colors)
    512x480, 24-bit color (16.7 million colors)

    The ISA version received good rating in a Byte review. Hercules is
    coming up with a MCA version this week, list price about $1300.
    But of course, this board is not a 8514/A clone.

    Then there's a RasterOps ColorBoard (or something like that) for
    MicroChannel, which also has 24-bit color.

    I think Genoa has some MCA version, don't know it it's 8514/A
    register compatible. Also Orchid has ProDesigner II/MC. A recent
    issue of PC World (or PC Computing) had an article on speeding up
    Windows 3.0, and they recommended some cards. Maybe you should
    check that.

    Right. There's also a ATI 8514/A Vantage card, which is slower but
    even more affordable. This info I got from ATI flyer, don't know
    is the Vantage card is on market yet. BTW, has anyone more info on
    the _Crystal Font_ technology that ATI advertises with the Ultra ?
    Does it work with Windows ?
