I'm working with a Model 30 that appears to have a flaky disk drive.
When using Windows, the drive sounds as if it's varying in speed.
Although Windows is very disk intensive on this PC, I can recreate
the problem in DOS>

Does IBM supply any "investigative tools," similar to the Reference
Diskette supplied with their higher end machines to look into this?
