I am interested in references regarding the IBM micro channel bus
architecture.  I am interested in papers that discuss the design 
decisions that were involved.  Why was the particular configuration
chosen, what performance/cost tradeoffs were made, etc. etc.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Please respond by e-mail.
