I can of course read them in with SoundEdit and set the pitch, but this doesn't really fix the problem when using SoundMaster. So, my question is this: Does anyone know how I could modify the file so that, if it were a 22K file, it would think it was a 11K file, and thus it would scan through the data at half its speed, and thus it would be fine. I imagine ResEdit may be the starting point. >-Nick Triantos ----------------------- Ok for Nick and everybody else out there that doesn't know about this yet: Open the sound file with resedit (will not work for snds with no resource) go to the Info resource ID #0018 and change the last line (something like 000x where x is between 1 and 4) either 0001 for 22 kHz, 0002 11kHz etc through to 0004 for 5.5kHz. I hope this helps everyone out. If you need more help, let me know.
