(I gotta support one of my (new) BNR colleagues!) You definitely *can't* cd to other mounted volumes, at least using Telnet 2.3. I have just tried to do it. cd / just puts you at the root of the boot disk; cd .. there does nothing either; cd also does nothing. What version are you using?
