Thank you > Kevin Hill If I worked for MacUser, I'd probably say something dumb like "You must be using a bootleg copy of the ImageWriter since you apparently don't have the IWII Owner's Manual." Paraphrased from said manual: Error light on continuously: printer out of paper. Error light blinking, 2 causes: 1. front cover may be loose or off 2. paper or print mechanism jam Error lightblinks irregularly: check DIP switch SW2-4 It sounds like you have error #3. At this point I think it best that I refer you to the diagrams and instructions in Appendix A (or wherever it appears in other versions of the manual), just in case there are minor variations from the IWII of 3 years ago; besides, a diagram makes things much clearer.
