For some bizarre reason, the new version includes ZOOM rectangles for nearly every window operation. Previous versions have never used this "feature," and the new version doesn't even have a toggle to turn it off I find it extremely irritating: it unnecessarily slows down the program. One thing I've always liked about ResEdit has been how crisp its responsiveness was; this new version is comparable to walking in mud, despite all the neat features. --- Robert Dorsett Internet: rdd@peyote.cactus.org UUCP: ...cs.utexas.edu!peyote.cactus.org!rdd
