But neither of us is sure whether it's OK to put 8 2-meg SIMMs in a IIci under either 6.0.7 or System 7 (when it's released). Likewise, would 8 4-meg SIMMs be OK? What does the Mac do with memory over 8 megs under 6.0.7? How about combinations (like 4 1-meg and 4 4-meg SIMMs)? If someone knows of an official "legal memory combinations" list, we'd be much obliged if he or she could post or mail it to us.
