Message-ID: <7113@mace.cc.purdue.edu> Date: 29 Mar 91 20:01:52 GMT Organization: Purdue University Lines: 12 After I installed my new 68040 board and restored power to my cube, it wanted to boot from an OD, in spite of the fact that I had previously specified SD booting. After resetting the boot device from Preferences, subsequent reboots used the SD as expected. Later, however, when I powered off my 68040 cube to clean the OD drive, it again lost the boot drive selection when I restored power. Is there a known sequence for making the 68040 ROM lose track of the boot device? Vic Abell
