So, has anyone out there hooked up DRAM, by any means, to the 56001? The really cheesy plan that I have now is to use another processor and have it look at some memory location (treating the 56001 like an I/O device) and just trnasferring that to DRAM. Of course the other processor I'm using already knows about DRAM. Does anyone know how the NeXT interfaces its 56001 to the 68030? I've heard things like DMA, but the logic and timings required for that must be horrendous.
