I have been out of touch recently, and I hope someone could update me
regarding the current availability of SoftPC, WordPerfect, and fax
modems for the slab.  A heavy hitting faculty member in my department
has just acquired a slab, and would like the preceding programs asap
so that her transition to the NeXTWorld can be somewhat eased.  Are
they available? in beta? if so, from whom, and for how much?  Also,
what is the current recommendation for the best fax modems?
