I am trying to install a ie ethernet controller into a Sun 4/330.  The
kernel has the right config line, sees the controller but when I try to
ifconfig the interface, the machine locks up (cannot even L1-a it).  Is
there some reason why this should or should not work?  Can the backplane
jumpers be wrong (IACK and BG3 are out)?  Any other reason why this
would'nt work?
