Aox sells an upgrade for Z-248s and Z-241. here is some info:

Zmaster 386
Processor: 80386
CPU Speed: 16, 20, 15 or 33 MHz
Bus Speed: 8 MHz
Memory: Accesses all RAM on host
Optional 32 bit Memory: 1, 4 MB simms
                        2, 8 MB simm  (factory installed)
Cache
No wait states

take out the existing 286 CPU card and replace w/ Z-Master 386
