I purchased a used ADDS viewpoint 122 terminal about a year ago, and sadly, when I brought it home, I fired it up only to find it beeping continuously, and the message KYBD ERROR appearing on the screen. Last week I finally dug the thing out again and ripped apart the keyboard, to find that the large (48 pin DIP) keyboard controller IC had a _crack_ in the top of it, unfortunately obscuring the part number. It is an Intel part, but without the full part number I can't exactly replace it. Does anybody know what the actual part number is, and where I can get a replacement part? The keyboard is a VT-220 style keytronic keyboard, for the ADDS Viewpoint 122 (as mentioned above). Thanks a million, Russell Hoffman rh2y+@andrew.cmu.edu Carnegie Mellon University
