I foresee a lot of difficulties in the quantification of order, which in a manufacturing systems would be an index of productivity, in a general system. Being a beginner to this newsgroup I realised there are a lot of people out there who can enlighten me in this area. I would very much appreciate any attempt to post or mail me the relevent citations or journals dealing with this subject. Thanks in advance, Sailesh @irl.ise.ufl.edu
