The new Sony laptop is also in that price range.  It's MIPS R3000
based, comes with 8 megs of memory & 200 meg disk, and a ~1100x1000
LCD screen. -- $9900 list price.  Oh, and it's expandable to 36 megs
of memory and 600 megs of disk, all internal.  Runs SysVr4 with
X11R4 and Motif.
