Lines: 23 Does anybody know what the message Reset tty pgrp #### to #### Hangup means? #### are (different) numbers, I forget if the first one does in fact appear.. This appears occasionally (rarely) while I'm using csh on a SPARC Station running SunOS. I seem to remember it happening on a PDP-11 here also.. When it appears, the shell refuses to accept any more than perhaps a line of input before interrupting and coming up with the error again.. The only obvious cure is to log out. (Some commands still work in part - one which doesn't is mail, which exits back to shell (with the Reset.. message) after about a line of typing..)
