Sometimes, not always, I was getting null returns out of "who am i". And I thought my machine was just having an identity crisis. Now, after stringing thru the ?tmp files, I've isolated it: who am i returns nothing for all user names which are exactly 8 characters! Does anybody know if this is a known bug? Does it affect ISC, SCO, ESIX, etc? -- Alan Denney # aland@informix.com # {pyramid|uunet}!infmx!aland "These tests will have no effect on your grades.
