What gives? Any help would be much appreciated. |> I have had the same problem with a X386.1.1a that I compiled from the sources. The X386.1.1 server that came in that binary distribution worked just fine. I don't like the keyboard mapping X386 does very much anyway. On my 84-key keyboard (I really *hate* those 101/102 things and hope mine never breaks) at least the HOME end END keys produce the same code (ESC-O). The "main" keys are taken from the current keyboard map, so I can put umlauts etc. there, but function keys and the keypad are overridden somewhere. Haven't looked at it closely yet. |> BTW All other apps work ok. X386 is very fast.
