I no nothing about fortran and don't have a FM to R... yet...  maybe this
Ultrix Doc cd will show up someday...

Anyway, how do I assign unit numbers ala VMS?  I can do

$ assign/user  filename FOR007

for opening unit 7, but how does it work under Ultrix?  setenv?  Or do I
just have to hardlink files together???
