Message-ID: <110268@unix.cis.pitt.edu> Date: 2 Apr 91 00:45:45 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: University of Pittsburgh Lines: 9 For some reason, my machine cannot use SMARTdrive. With 1.5 expanded memory configured as extended memory, can I somehow use RAMdrive for speed? I have read the Windows 3.0 manual, understand the concept of a virtual drive, and have absolutely no idea how (or whether) to assign a letter to RAMdrive. My question is simply this: If I use RAMdrive, will my Windows operate any faster? If so, what is the best configuration? Many thanks in advance.
