Summary: >~130 icons cause PM screen update problem Message-ID: <670617522@globe01.cs.duke.edu> Date: 2 Apr 91 18:38:43 GMT References: <10505@orca.wv.tek.com> Organization: Duke University Computer Science Dept.; Durham, N.C. Lines: 33 I had an interesting problem this weekend. If I have more than about 130 icons in opened groups in program manager, then pm will not redraw itself correctly. I have tried this with the video drivers supplied with my OPDII and the standard windows supplied VGA drivers. Does anyone else have this problem? Steps to create problem: 1) Create 7 groups in PM. I have 4 groups of 25 icons and 3 groups of about 10 icons. 2) Open all groups. 3) Make PM into an icon and then open it. Now, you should have the title bar of PM and frame, but nothing else. (Well it's more like it's invisible with the back- ground showing through.) If you iconify one of the groups then problem goes away.
