I would like xterm to yield escape sequences by default when I use the
numeric keypad keys, instead of numbers.  I believe this is done by
enabling keypad application mode (instead of numeric mode).  Is there
a way to do this when an xterm starts up, via the .Xdefaults file
perhaps?  I read the man page thoroughly, but could only find how
to bind the mode-toggling function to a key.
