I am writing an application that requires the users password.  I am using
motif1.1.  I am getting the string from an XmTextField widget.  The
problem is this:
control charactors are not entered!  For some reason, if I type a control
charactor into the textfield nothing is entered.  This is a serious problem
since many users have control charactors in thier passwords.

I would greatly appreciate any help and or ideas.
