I'm running Bnews, current patch level, and have been getting
the same error from expire for a couple of years.  Here it is:

Mar 28 20:38	local	: Unparsable date "11/25/89 05:20	comp.mail.misc/1518 comp.mail.uucp/2343 comp.unix.questions/10123 comp.mail.sendmail/1102 new<18556@watdragon.waterloo.edu>	11/25/89 05:23"

Even when everything is expired (i.e., expire -I -e 0), the message
crops up everyday.  No big deal, but it's kinda curious.
