In Minnesota, only people who are physically incapable of shooting a rifle can legally hunt deer with a handgun. Which reminds me, it is also illegal here to use a bow with any kind of mechanical release mechanism. Therefore crossbows are out under bow rules. What I don't understand is why it's not legal to use a crossbow under firearm rules.
