The idea that anyone should want to put off salvation bothers me. It seems that God wants us to be saved for our benefit, not our sorrow. The person who comes to Him earlier in life is the more advantaged because they have more opportunity to become Christ-like in this life and longer to serve. I think that in heaven our most important concerns will be to to be like Christ and to serve Him. If that's what will be eternally on our minds we might as well make it important to us now! Ann B.
