There is an implementation of strtod in volume 4 of the cmop.sources.misc archives. It is considered somewhat bad netiquette to post a message to the entire world asking for sources for something before checking the major archives such as comp.sources.misc, comp.sources.unix, etc. You can get the sources via anonymous ftp in the file /comp.sources.misc/volume4/strtod.Z on ftp.uu.net. You could also have looked this up by telnet'ing to quiche.cs.mcgill.ca, logging in as "archie" with no password, and then typing "set search subcase" and "prog strtod". -- Jonathan Kamens USnail: MIT Project Athena 11 Ashford Terrace jik@Athena.MIT.EDU Allston, MA 02134 Office: 617-253-8085 Home: 617-782-0710
