	Can someone please sugest refrences to DETAILED descriptions
of how to implement sound compression.  Many people make reference to
ADPCM, but nothing I have found says exactly how to do it.  I am
interested in compression of 8 bit sound with a reasonable amount of
loss of information, hoping to gain 2 to 5 times compression.
