     I have just started repairing a system written in AREV1.1 and
need some help in changing the name of a field in a record (
modifying a field name in a dictionary for you arev experts). I
can call up the field, but when I change the name it thinks I'm looking
for a different field name. The whole purpose of this excercise is
to trim the name down to the point where I can export it to a dBase
file ( and permanently fix the whole system by _dumping_ arev - what a turd!)
