A Spring 1990 Graybar Telecom Digest has a FexPanel (tm) made by Siemon Company with the following specs: Pair twists maintained up to point of termination for optimal data transmissions Jack contacts have 50 micro-inches of gold plating per FCC requirements Optional wire hangers 48 modular jacks are connected to 66-type quick clips OR 25-pair connectors on the rear of the panel. Panels are available with 1-, 2-, 3-, and 8-pair modular jacks as standards. (Other custom ones also)
