A friend without net access has an Everex 2400 Baud Modem (EV-940) which
he believes the Firmware EPROM(s) have gone N/S. If anyone out there has
this Modem and access to EPROM copying equipment, please send a response
to me by E-mail (do not post, these groups expire too quickly on my
machines) and it would be much appreciated. If one does not have access to
EPROM copying equipment directly, I am sure that a copy can be made at
a local electronics store. I am also equally sure that if one does not have
access to EPROM copying equipment, they are likely to be scared of removing
their EPROM :-). Regardless, I am sure adequate arrangements will be made.
