Ctrl is next to A, Shift is next to Z. There is a meta key below left shift that is configurable to send an ESC-key sequence when you press key while meta is held down. Caps Lock is to the right and below right shift. Line feed is above Caps lock. Cursor keys are to the right of keyboard, keypad (vt100 style) to the right of that. Function keys are above. All function keys and things like Backspace, Delete, and several more are user definable.
