I have several Babyl files, from which I can reply. Now, my setup is such than I have a Bcc: to myself from all outbound messages, this of course includes replies. When I receive in the incoming mail the message which is in fact the Bcc: of a reply, I often add this message at the end of the Babyl file from which the reply has been issued. I wonder if there is an easy way to automate this further. Here is a starting idea. When replying from a Babyl file which is not the main RMAIL file, some kind of `Auto-Babyl: BABYL-FILE-PATH' line could be generated in the template header by the reply processor. I could then edit the Auto-Babyl: line or simply remove it if I do not feel like automatically saving the reply. Let's presume I keep it. When the reply, once completed, is being sent, sendmail.el could recognize the Auto-Babyl: line, then process it by saving the adequately formatted reply in the specified BABYL-FILE-PATH, then remove the Auto-Babyl: line before letting the message leave. Still using Babyl files, if someone sees a better way to do this, please tell me. -- Franc, ois Pinard ``Vivement GNU!'' pinard@iro.umontreal.ca (514) 588-4656 cp 886 L'Epiphanie (Qc) J0K 1J0 ...!uunet!iros1!pinard
