Even 2400 bps is not that much better than 1200 if we're talking speed of highlighting/unhighlightling sizeable chunks of text. And 2400 is the best some of our hosts provide through dialup. Personally, I'd like highlighting on request, or for line speeds of 9600 or higher, or for X.
