We are trying to replace Unipress emacs on Sun3's and Sparcs. We have been testing gnu emacs 18.57 using SunOS 4.0.3 & 4.1.1 on Sun3's and Sparcs but the following is holding us up. Problem 1: How can we get cut/paste between Sun's shelltool/commandtool windows under OPENLOOK and the xvetool (emacstool)? Would this require a new version of xvetool, modifications to low level emacs code? Is it difficult? I have tried the X version of emacs under Openlook and could not get the cut/paste to work between emacs and Shelltools. Any suggestions on obtaining cut and paste abilities between emacs and OPENLOOK clients would be helpful. Problem 2: In Openlook how can we make xvetool NOT be click to type.? I think somewhere this was answered but I can't find it. If anyone has any insights please respond to net or me directly and I'll summarize. -- Patrick O'Shaughnessy UUCP: {uunet!zardoz|sun!sunkist}!ohio!patrick Thomas Bros.
