I am working on 3D Vector Field Visualization. I have a 
30 by 30 by 30 uniform volume data and have the granularity
of unit cube in the volume.

I am not able to get functions for computing the vector field
by taking the gradient of the function of 3 variables. I would
very much appreciate if any of you can send information about
numerical routines to compute the Gradient. Also, I need to
have a function of 3 variables to test the vector field. I have
tested using a function ex. exp(cos(sin(x))).
