Lines: 13 Approved: laser-lovers@brillig.umd.edu I have a friend who is interested in purchasing the Canon LBP4 Laser Printer. He would like to know what the difference is between Scalable fonts and Bitmapped fonts. I had no idea. Also, is Bold and Italics a font or is it a function of the font? So if a company advertises 9 fonts, does this mean 3 fonts with Bold, Italics and Standard text or does it mean 9 different fonts with Bold, Italics and Standard text? Forgive me if this has been discussed before. I am new to this group. Many thanks in advance! -steveb
