I am frustrated trying to interface a postscript equipped
laserjet III to an hp9000-350 running hpux 7.0, with the transcript
software from adobe.

I integrate the transcript software into the lp spooler system
(according to the installation manual), send postscript files to
the printer (which displays "postscript ready"), but the printer does
not respond.

I am using the built-in rs232 (select code 9), and have configured
everything according to installation instructions.

A transcript expert around?
