We are using CADENCE edge2.1 to design chips which shall be realised
with ES2. We want to become a little bit more independent from the
actual technology fabricated by ES2 and thus we started to use
symbolic layout.

Unfortunately symbolic layout is not supported now and hence we are
looking for the following items:

a) A techfile for 1.5 um (of es2) technology.

b) The compactor is written for n-substrate technology, however ES2
   uses a p-substrate technology. Is anybody out there with a new set
   of procedures for the creation of "well-taps" and stuff like that?

c) Everytime we placed a "NplusContact" and choose the option row > 1 
   or column > 1, we got the message "Generation of parameterized
   cell failed". So how can I generate more than one row or column
   of contacts?
