    after compiling MH (and it seems to work fairly well), I get the
    following when trying to forward a letter:
    
    forw: -build unknown
    
    anyone know what this means ??

I'm guessing (you don't say exactly what you are doing...) that you
are using mh-e from Emacs, in which case you need to specify the MHE
option when you build MH.
